Applications are now open!
We are now accepting applications for our Cohort 2601. If you are interested in applying please select the link below to get started. please make note of the following important dates regarding the start of the program .
- Application Deadline is October 17th, 2025
- Invitations for interviews will be sent out the week of October 20th 2025
- Interviews will be held the week of October 27th
- Orientation will be held in the evening of November 7th
- Program will begin January.
Dates are subject to change depending on number of applicants. Modifications to program and cohorts may be made at discretion of WDFW staff and needs of the applicants.

Warrior Service Dog Program
Are you a Veteran or First Responder in need of a service dog?
From a hands on training program, wellness workshops, Fellowship goups and outreach.Our Wellness driven service dog program is focused on the mental health and wellbeing of our Warriors.
Care Team K9 Program
Designed specifically for First Responder agancies, our Care Team K9's are trained specifically to help medigate the effects of post traumatic Stress brought on by traumatic calls for service and/or events.
Become a Healing Team: Volunteer with Our Therapy Dog Program
The Working Dogs for Warriors Therapy Dog Program invites dedicated volunteers to get involved by training and handling certified therapy dogs. Volunteers and their dogs bring comfort and support to veterans in hospitals, students in schools, and others in need throughout the community. It’s a meaningful way to give back, promote healing, and make a positive impact—one visit at a time.
